About Us

Kaspian Strings was founded by Katy Herndon. Katy has played violin for over 30 years, over 20 years professionally, and has performed in over 250 weddings and countless other gigs. She has a bachelor's degree in music from the University of South Alabama and is currently Concert Master for the Elsewhen Orchestra. She came up with the idea of Kaspian Strings to create quartets, trios, duets, and more with her incredibly talented musician friends.
Kaspian plays in a variety of genres from classical to Celtic, to pop, to Movie themes. We are located in Mobile, AL area and would love to play for your wedding, anniversary party, work party, or afternoon tea.
